What is the most outstanding landmark or what is it most known for? Anyone who's driven the stretch of North Stone Avenue between Roger Road and Limberlost Drive has seen the colorful Stone Avenue mural, which welcomes people to the Limberlost Neighborhood with painted birds, fish, plants and other images. The mural, on a 600-foot-long wall, is what jump-started the formation of a neighborhood association in 1999, when residents decided to team with the Tucson Pima Arts Council and Amphitheater Public Schools students to create a mural on a wall that was otherwise a graffiti magnet. It's one of the well-known and highly regarded murals in Tucson. We're very proud of it, and we do a lot of maintenance work on it.
